 IHS Cheer Tryout Information 2026 

We’re so excited your athlete wants to try out for the Irvine High School Cheer Team! Here is all the information you'll need to start the tryout process!

 Mandatory Parent Meeting 

•      Wed, April 8 | 7:00–8:00 PM | IHS HLG Room
•   Parent Meeting Slides

Forms Needed for Tryouts:

•   Tryout Packet
  
•   Athletic Clearance Form
•   Statement of Consent

Tryout Week!!!

• Mon, April 27 – Tryout Packet, Athletic Clearence and Statement of Consent Forms Due | 3:30–5:00 PM @ Irvine High School In the cheer practice area.
• Tues April 28–Thurs April 30 – Tryout Clinic | 4:00–6:00 PM
• Friday, May 1 – TRYOUT DAY | 4:00–9:00 PM

Make-up tryouts will be available the week before. April 21-24. Please email Coach Burke for more details and to schedule your make-up date. Stephanieburke@iusd.org
